This mosaic is inspired by The Expulsion from Eden, a scene from the biblical story of Adam and Eve. The original fresco is part of the Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted by Michelangelo. It shows the moment when Adam and Eve are forced to leave the Garden of Eden after disobeying God.
