A figure inspired by a gladiator.

 It depicts a warrior of ancient Rome, prepared to fight in the arena. Gladiators were specially trained in schools (ludi) and fought both for public entertainment and for honour.

Fun fact: contrary to popular belief, not all gladiators fought to the death – many were well-paid professionals, and their fighting style depended on the type of equipment and training they received.
