Brachiosaurus – one of the most recognisable dinosaurs, lived in the Late Jurassic, around 154–153 million years ago. It was a huge herbivore, measuring up to 25 metres in length and weighing more than 30 tonnes. Its long neck allowed it to reach the leaves of trees, which made up its main diet.
Fun fact: unlike many other dinosaurs, its front legs were longer than its hind legs, giving it a distinctive posture.
