The CN Tower in Toronto is one of the tallest freestanding buildings in the world, measuring 553 metres in height. It was completed in 1976 and for many years was the tallest tower in the world. It is a popular tourist attraction, offering observation decks with city panoramas and a glass floor for the brave. The tower also serves as a television and radio mast.
