With legs as massive as an elephant’s and a neck several metres long like that of a giraffe, the Brachiosaurus was one of the largest and heaviest animals to ever walk the Earth. Despite its size, it was a peaceful herbivore that fed on leaves and conifers from treetops — far out of reach for smaller dinosaurs.
